Yesterday was my birthday and i rode up Alpe d’Huez from our base in Bourg d’Oisans for a coffee with the family at the finish line !. They all cheated and went in the Enjoy Minibus !

Rode up to the small village of Oulles today as the Col d’Ornon was shut for roadworks - 32 minutes very steep - 7 km - my favourite climb - in the area and much better than its famous cousin Alpe d’Huez

Lance Armstrong to Race for Astana 2009 for Tour de France comeback more >>

Lance has just announced he is riding for Astana in 2009 linking up with his old team manager at Discovery / US Postal.
He starts in January at the Tour down Under in Australia and his season will finish at the end of the Tour de France. Lets hope the Tour comes to Alpe d’Huez again [...]
