Alpe d'Huez Triathlon 2012

Our supported Alpe d'Huez Triathlon week based in Bourg d'Oisans. The 7 night stay will include a chance to cycle the long route of the Triathlon, an open water swim in a similar lake to the event and as much race day support as you need.

The dates for the 2012 Alpe d'Huez triathlon are the 22nd-26th July 2012. We are taking bookings for the week of the 21st to 28th July 2012. The week long accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis in the centre of Bourg d'Oisans cost just 349GBP per person based on shared rooms and is for a maximum of 8 people (1 twin, 2 triples and 1 single room - rooms allocated on a first come first serve basis)

Itinerary for the week

Saturday 21st July - Arrival
Sunday 22nd July - Ride the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon cycle route - over the Col de la Morte (Alpe du Grande Serre) and the Col d'Ornon. Vehicle supported so you can ride as little or as much as you wish.
Monday 23rd July - Open water swim in Lake Laffrey. Get used to the water conditions in a similar lake to the actual open water swim. Transport to and from the lake will be provided.
Tuesday 24th July - Free day and get entry packs from Alpe d'Huez. View the run section of the event.
Wednesday 25th July - Compete in event we will get you to start line / pick you up from finish line
Thursday 26th July - Compete in event we will get you to start line / pick you up from finish line
Friday 27th July - Free day
Saturday 28th July - Depart

Additional Information

As part of the week we will take you to Alpe d'Huez to get your race entry (you will need to enter)
Get you and your equipment to the race start on the Wednesday or Thursday
Pick you and your equipment up from Alpe d'Huez at the end of the event.
