Terms and Conditions
Please read these conditions carefully and retain for
future reference as they form part of the contract between
us. A contract exists once you have submitted your booking
form and we have confirmed the booking and received payment
of your deposit.
Accommodation. We provide accommodation in twin,
triple or single rooms, some of which are en-suite. Prices
are per person and are based on a shared room. If you
are travelling alone and are willing to share a room (with a
person of the same sex) subject to a share being found no
supplement is payable, if you wish to have a room to
yourself a supplement of £150 GBP (200 euros) is payable and will be included
on your booking schedule.
Cost. Our prices include the basic cost of accommodation.
You can choose to add extras such as airport transfers,
breakfast supplies, massage, equipment hire and so on and
these will all be itemised on your booking schedule.
Booking and Payment. Please make your booking by
following the on-line instructions. The person making the
booking guarantees payment to us of the total cost of the
holiday booked and does so on behalf and with the consent of
all others for whom the booking is made. Payment of a 20%
deposit is required to secure your booking. Please note that
the balance is due in full 8 weeks before your arrival date.
If you are booking within 8 weeks of your arrival date
payment in full is due on booking. Failure to pay the
balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation on
your part and we reserve the right to impose cancellation
charges.
Changes to your booking. Please notify us at your
earliest opportunity of any change to your booking, wherever
possible we will try to accommodate changes and issue a new
booking schedule subject to an administration fee of £50.00 GBP
(65 euros).
If we are unable to accommodate the change and you cancel
your booking then cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation charges. Subject to these terms and
conditions if we cancel your booking we will do so in
writing and refund to you all monies paid to us. If you wish
to cancel a booking with us you must do so in writing.
Notice of cancellation is subject to an administration fee
of £50.00 GBP (65 euros). Charges for the cancellation of your booking are
as follows: + 8 weeks to arrival date loss of deposit 6-8
weeks 40% of the holiday cost 4-6 weeks 60% 2-4 weeks 80%
0-2 weeks 100%
Weather and Force Majeure. We ride in the mountains where
weather conditions can be unpredictable. We cannot give
refunds if weather conditions are unfavourable. Neither will
we give refunds if we have to cancel or change your holiday
arrangements in any way because of war, riot, industrial
dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster,
fire, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen
circumstances that may amount to force majeure.
Age Restrictions. Bookings can only be accepted by
persons under 16 years when accompanied by an adult who will
be responsible for them. Bookings can only be accepted by
persons aged 16-18 years when countersigned by their parent
or legal guardian.
Insurance. Cycling can be dangerous and all
clients are required to be covered by an appropriate
insurance policy. We recommend that your insurance is taken out at the
time of booking. If you have cancelled a booking because of
genuine medical reasons and or personal tragedy it may be
possible to recover the cancellation costs from your
Insurer.
Ability. We assume that clients have a good understanding
of their own abilities and we will discuss with you on
arrival a suitable programme of rides but clients must make
their own judgements as to their ability and ride entirely
at their own risk.
Transfers and Guides. Our airport transfers and programme
of rides may include uplifts and travel in our vehicles.
Clients travel in our vehicles at their own risk and we
cannot accept liability for injury or damage to your
equipment including your bikes. The guiding qualifications
held by our UK guides are not currently recognised by the
French Authorities and guiding services may be suspended at
any time if we are prevented from guiding by them. In such
circumstances we will continue to offer advice on suggested
routes and itineraries. Guiding services are included free
of charge and no refunds will be given.
Data Storage. Your personal contact details will
be stored electronically. If you do not agree with this,
please cancel your order now, and enter by post. No credit
card/debit card/PayPal details are stored with enjoy oisans.
Your details will only be used by us, they will not be
passed to any third party.
Disputes. We will strive to make your holiday enjoyable,
but in the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of it
you should speak to us about any problem as it arises in
order that we can try to resolve it. Any formal complaint
must be in writing and received within 10 days of your
departure date. We will make every effort to resolve all
complaints but should the matter be referred to court then
these terms and conditions will be referred to. Any dispute
arising will be dealt with by a court in England and Wales
and not in the country where the holiday took place.
In order to book a holiday with us you must indicate that
you have read and accept these terms and conditions. If you
do not accept them then you are free not to book with us.
