Col du Télégraphe (1566m)

The Col du Télégraphe can be reached from Saint
Michael de Maurienne and although not strictly in the
Oisans region is a favourite climb
of many of our guests and comes before the mighty
Col du Galibier. For
our guests we provide an out lift to the bottom of the Col
du Télégraphe so that they can climb this and also the
Col du Galibier before
descending back to our base in
Bourg d'Oisans.

The Col du Télégraphe has been used many times
in the
Tour de France
with the race most recently ascending it in 2007. The climb
is also used every year in
La
Marmotte Sportive held in July. It is a lovely climb
through the wooded mountainside over 11.8 km and a total
height gain of 858 metres
