Etape du Tour Week 2012

Each year we take the famous cols from the Tour de France and add some more from the forthcoming Tour de Francemix it up a little and create a fantastic and challenging week of supported cycling. Full details for the week are published once the following years Tour de France is announced in October.

This is your chance to ride stage 11 Albertville - La Toussuire - Les Sybelles of the 2012 Tour de France fully supported.

Overview

Ride stage 11 of the 2012 Tour de France - Albertville La Toussuire - Les Sybelles. The week includes the Cols from stage 19 of the 2011 Tour de France over the Col du T?graphe, Col du Galibier and Alpe d'Huez as well as the first climb on the La Marmotte sportive - The Col du Glandon. We will also be tackling other rides from our base in Bourg d'Oisans.

Itinerary

Saturday - Arrive in Bourg d'Oisans after 4PM
Sunday - Ride to St Christophe en Oisans and Le B?rde
Monday - Ride the Col du Glandon - the first part of the La Marmotte sportive and return to Bourg d'Oisans
Tuesday - Ride the Traverse d'Oisans with lunch on Bend 16 of Alpe d'Huez
Wednesday - Rest Day - Transfer to Albertville ready to ride stage 11 of the 2012 Tour de France
Thursday - Ride Stage 11 of the 2012 Tour de France from Albertville to La Toussuire - Les Sybelles over the Col de Madeleine, Col de la croix de Fer and the Col du Mollard. Dinner is provided in the hotel tonight in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
Friday - Ride Stage 19 of the 2011 Tour de France over the Col du T?graphe, Col du Galibier and finish on Alpe d'Huez. Stay back at our base in Bourg d'Oisans
Saturday - Depart by 10AM

Details

The one week tour cost ?699 GBP for a maximum of 8 guests.
We can run the tour for groups of 5 or more anytime in June, August and September.
The price includes accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis in Bourg d'Oisans and a half board basis on 1 night away.
Transfers to Albertville from Bourg d'Oisans
Full vehicle support in our minibus. This will follow you round on our 2 etape du tour days transporting your belongings and provisions as well as providing mechanical assistance and a rest if you need it.
Assisted and supported riding on 5 days to tackle the major Tour de France cols.
A More Than 21 Bends Jersey for all booking received before 31st December
All accommodation is in at least 2 star rated accommodation and is based on shared rooms.
