La Marmotte Sportive Cycling Tour Week - Bourg d'Oisans

TOUR WEEK - Due to demand we have released an additional 6 spaces for our Marmotte Tour week.

La Marmotte is traditionally held on the first weekend in July. This year all our accommodation in Bourg d'Oisans was booked by the end of September despite entries to the event not being released until November. Due to the number of enquiries we are already receiving for 2011 we have released an extra 6 spaces for our La Marmotte full tour week accommodation for the event. 

• Four spaces are on a bed and breakfast basis (£499 GBP per person) - Base is 500 metres from La Marmotte start. Price includes afternoon pasta or similar.
• Two spaces are on a self catered basis in our self contained 1 bedroom apartment (£449 GBP per person) - two single beds. Base is 100 metres from the start of La Marmotte

Proposed Itinerary

• Arrive Sunday 27th June 2011
• Monday - Minibus to the Col du Télégraphe - ride Télégraphe and Col du Galibier
• Tuesday - Ride the Col du Glandon from Bourg d'Oisans
• Wednesday - Cycle Alpe d'Huez and over the Col de Sarenne.
• Thursday - Day off / Free day / Sign on
• Friday - Gentle local ride - nothing too serious - Cycle to Venosc for a drink
• Saturday - La Marmotte Sportive
• Sunday - Alpe d'Huez Time Trial
• Depart Monday July 5th

HOTEL AND BED AND BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION WILL BE RELEASED IN LATE SUMMER AND EARLY AUTUMN.

All Marmotte 2011 booking are provisional booking until the dates are announced. Once the dates have been announced we will contact you and if the dates do not fit with your schedule then you will receive a full refund. Entry is not included in the price.
